I am a die-hard Twilight fan but I actually didn't read Midnight Sun until just yesterday.  Let's just put it this way: I couldn't put it down! Well, my computer anyway.  I loved getting inside Edward's head and "experiencing" all of these emotions I never knew he was feeling.  How he found Bella to be the most beatiful women, how he wanted to kiss and touch her, etc.  You also got some other scenes that were not in Twilight, like when Bella fell asleep outside.
While you would think it would be boring to hear Twilight again instead of a continuation of the story, it was very interesting.  In Twilight you "hear" it from a human female girl, in Midnight Sun you hear it from a vampire male boy.  Their lives and what they go through are completely different. "Seeing" them experience it from each perspective keeps you wanting to read more and wanting there to be more to read.

I was very upset BEFORE I read Midnight Sun that she put it on hold- now I am beyond that.  I mean, yes, someone did leak it. But why does she have to punish her fans her who were loyal to her?  She signed a contract for Midnight Sun meaning she has to complete that project.  But why, oh why, must she do this? I truly hope we can all hear some news soon on when Midnight Sun is coming out. What about you? What did you think about Midnight Sun and Stephenie Meyer putting it on hold?
